EPBX / IP-PBX communication system
An IP PBX phone system is an advanced telecommunication device that provides voice connectivity using an Internet connection to oversee incoming and outgoing calls across its telephone network. IP PBX systems work by converting analog voice signals into digital data packets and transmitting them over an IP network. This technology enables businesses to make and receive phone calls over the Internet while maintaining analog phones throughout the office.
In addition to voice connectivity, IP PBX systems can also integrate with other communication technologies, such as video calling and conferencing. Furthermore, some IP PBX systems can be integrated with security and access control systems to provide a comprehensive solution for businesses.
Access control is the process of managing and restricting access to certain resources or areas to authorized personnel. An access control system is a digital network that utilizes tags, readers, control panels, and locks to create a seamless, automated experience for the user. There are three types of access control systems, including discretionary access control, mandatory access control, and role-based access control, which determine how access permissions are granted and who can set access permissions.
